Why you should never pay this GREEDY PERSONAL trainer upfront

This is a short warning about making payments to the personal trainer Tom Leverington who works from Slough.

Do not pay him upfront for your lessons.  If you do and I did - one month's lessons (8 classes) amounting to £160 - and you are ill or have an accident and so unable to train.  He will not return your money.

I fell off my bicycle and injured my wrist  (age 63 years-old) and told him I could not do my third lunchtime lesson.  He immediately told me I would have to pay anyway - so no empathy. Not even a first time warning - well I usually charge if you miss a lesson - but because this is your first time..etc.

Since I thought that was mercenary (I don't like bad karma in my life) and he had not told me of his terms & conditions or give me a receipt. Whilst I appreciate he has to run a business - which is why I paid him upfront as I know what is is like working for oneself - I did not want to continue to train with someone to whom money is so  important in a people business. My wrist was so badly hurt that I thought it was broken and had to go to A&E for an X-ray so could not continue my lessons for some weeks anyhow.

He has refused to give me the rest of my money back. Worst of all is that he does not care = so arrogant as well.

He clearly does not understand that good customer relations brings more customers.

SO DON'T PAY HIM UPFRONT!

As for his personal training - throwing some old tyres around, squats and arm pulls. It can be done at home.

  1. This blog is a lie, as the author got annoyed that she did not communicate with me properly and missed sessions with no contact and ignoring calls and text messages.

After ignoring me for a month she asks for her money back which was agreed upon signing up that she could not have a refund unless a doctors note was provided - and about the wrist she called me the day after it happened (after our first session) and asked me if we should train. I said No, rest it and I would see her next week. Then she ignored me after replying to one of her texts asking if we were training (she sent the day of training in the am i replied straight away yet she doesn't show). Upon saying that that would count as one of her sessions, she decided to stop training with me then ignore me for the month then plead for the money back after no reply to me trying to see what the problem was.

Therefore I did not give the pre paid money for the sessions, as it was her fault that she did not use them.

Hopefully there are no hard feelings but disappointed someone would write a blog about me and spread lies which who anyone knows me reading this thinks it is a joke.

    Shame.

    Tom
